Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 July 2026
The short version. Chaotic Clock is a game — play it for fun. Don't cheat the leaderboards or try to break it, and understand that it's provided as-is by a solo developer.

These terms govern your use of the Chaotic Clock iOS app ("the game"), operated by Jordi Reina ("we"), contact: chaotic-clock@proton.me. By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to App Store downloads.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the game on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Fair play

Leaderboards and the daily challenge only work if everyone plays the same game. You agree not to manipulate scores, exploit bugs to gain unfair advantage, or reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the game. We may ask Apple to remove scores we believe are fraudulent.

3. Game Center

Leaderboards are provided through Apple's Game Center and are additionally governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. Game Center is optional — the game works without it.

4. Changes to the game

We may update, change, or discontinue the game or any of its features (including leaderboards and the daily challenge) at any time. Updates may adjust game balance; personal bests and streaks are stored on your device and may not survive reinstalls.

5. No warranty

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee it will be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Privacy

How the game handles data — including optional anonymous analytics — is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date above.
